These terms govern your use of W'U and any wedding website, guest experience or game we design and deliver — whether you are a couple or a partner.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the W'U website and any wedding website, digital guest experience or interactive game we design and deliver for you. By enquiring, commissioning or reselling any W'U service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Who we are
W'U ("we", "us", "our") is a custom wedding website studio that designs and builds bespoke wedding websites, digital guest experiences and interactive wedding games. These Terms apply to couples who commission a website directly and to partners — wedding planners, event managers and photographers — who refer, resell or white-label our services.
Our services and packages
We offer three standard packages — Essential, Signature and Bespoke — each a complete wedding website differentiated by the level of art direction, originality, number of events and complexity. Public retail prices are listed on our Packages page. Production timelines begin only once all required content and assets have been received. Every package includes domain connection and 12 months of hosting.
Revisions and scope
Each package includes a fixed number of revision rounds: Essential includes one, Signature includes two, and Bespoke includes three. Additional revisions are quoted separately. Scope is defined at the start of a project; requests beyond the agreed scope — including additional events, custom interactions or new game development — are quoted as add-ons.
Partner program
Our partner program offers three models. Under the Referral model, W'U owns the client relationship, sells and invoices, and pays the partner a commission on the collected project fee. Under the Reseller / Wholesale model, the partner owns the client relationship, sells and invoices, and keeps the margin between their retail price and the W'U production price. Under the White-label model, the partner presents the service under their own brand and W'U delivers production. Partner pricing is provided separately to approved partners and is confidential.
Referral commissions
Referral commission is payable only after the referred client payment has cleared in full. Refunds, taxes, payment processing fees and any third-party pass-through costs are excluded from the commission base unless agreed otherwise in writing. Standard referral commission is 15% of the collected project fee; strategic referral commission is 20%. Commission rates and eligibility are set at W'U's discretion and may be updated.
White-label and co-branding
Co-branded partnerships present the service under both the partner's brand and a "Digital experience by W'U" credit. White-label partnerships present the service solely under the partner's brand. Because W'U provides production while the partner retains the full client-facing brand experience, white-label carries a price premium of 15–20% over the base partner price. Partners may not misrepresent W'U's role or claim authorship of designs delivered under white-label beyond what the agreement permits.
Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in US dollars and, where shown, UAE dirhams. For direct clients, payment terms are agreed in the project proposal. For reseller and white-label partners, the partner is invoiced the agreed W'U production price and is responsible for invoicing their own client. Partner production prices are fixed at the time of project confirmation and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Intellectual property
Upon full payment, the couple receives a license to use their wedding website and its content for the duration of the hosting term. W'U retains ownership of the underlying design systems, templates, code, game mechanics and methodologies. Partners receive no ownership of W'U's intellectual property through the partner program; they receive a license to resell or white-label the service on the agreed terms. White-label partners may not remove W'U's ownership of underlying assets.
Confidentiality
Partner pricing, commercial terms, unreleased materials and any non-public information shared between W'U and a partner are confidential. Both parties agree not to disclose this information to third parties except as required to perform under the agreement, and to use it solely for the purpose of the partnership. This obligation survives the end of any partnership.
Hosting and availability
Each package includes 12 months of hosting from the date of launch. After this period, hosting may be renewed at the then-current rate. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including domain registrar issues, third-party platforms or force majeure.
Client content and conduct
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content you provide, including text, images and links. You confirm you have the rights to use any content you supply. We may refuse to publish content that is unlawful, infringing or objectionable. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information you supply to us.
Cancellation and refunds
Because our work is custom and begins immediately on commission, project fees are generally non-refundable once production has started. If a project is cancelled before work begins, any deposit may be retained to cover setup and scheduling. For partners, cancellation terms are governed by the individual partner agreement. Referral commissions are not payable on cancelled or refunded projects.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, W'U's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, including enquiry or booking volumes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date shown above. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
